The NMGSA Network serves and empowers LGBTQ+ and allied youth, ages 13-24, to create safer, more inclusive and welcoming schools while also building stronger, more resilient young leaders and activists. NMGSA supports and sustains GSA clubs across the state while also working nationally to create change and engaging in active policy advocacy work at the state legislature and within schools.
We host numerous resiliency and leadership-building events throughout the year, and we seek out partnerships with other community groups and organizations as well as adults interested in supporting the LGBTQ+ community and/or those adults looking to start a Genders and Sexualities Alliance in school.
Begun in 2005, NMGSA is the only GSA program in the state and one of the few that’s truly statewide.
